Boards and Commissions fulfill an important role in City government by evaluating issues which affect our community and making recommendations to the Council for needed action. The City of Tyler's Boards and Commissions and the appointment process are described below. For additional information, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 903-531-1106.
Members must reside inside the City limits and should not have any delinquent City taxes, City utilities or other City assessments, and must not have any pending claim against the City.
To be considered, please submit the completed application to the City Clerk's Office. Board appointments are made in August of each year. Applications are accepted year round and will be kept on file until the next appointment process.
