City Attorney, Deborah Pullum began her career as the Assistant City Attorney with the City of Tyler on November 1, 2004 and was later promoted to Senior Assistant City Attorney. On June 26th, the City Council approved her appointment as the first female City Attorney of Tyler. She has lived in Tyler since junior high school and attended John Tyler High School. She earned her law degree from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1996 after obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree from Florida A&M University with a major in Business Administration. Prior to working for the City of Tyler, Pullum was an assistant district attorney for the Smith County District Attorney's Office from 1997 to 2004.
