If your cart is missing, please click on the following link and complete a missing property police report:POLICE REPORT. Or contact the Police Department at 903-531-1000 and tell them you need to make a missing property report for a trash container.
After you receive a completed report with a case number from the Police Department, please forward that report to the Solid Waste Department at solidwaste@tylertexas.com . EMAIL
Our residential trash collection crews get out bright and early to start their daily rounds. The Tyler Code of Ordinances states that containers other than those with a packout service shall be placed at the curb for collection no earlier than 6:00 p.m. on the day prior to scheduled service and shall be removed by 7:00 a.m. the morning following the collection day.
Trash is collected for residents living in the northern portion of the city on Mondays and Thursdays. We collect trash for residents living in the southern portion of the city on Tuesdays and Fridays.
