New Service
If you do not currently have active service with Tyler Water Utilities, you can request new service by coming in to the office at 511 W. Locust Street or by completing the online Request Water Service form.

To get new service you will need to provide the following:
  • Picture ID (Driver's License)
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of the address (Lease or Contract)
  • $50 connect fee (cash, check or money order)

If you sign up using the online Request Water Service form, you will need to be able to scan and upload the requested documents and the connect fee will be added to your first months bill.

We can generally provide next business day service for requests made before 5 p.m. the previous business day. It is necessary for someone to be at the service location for water to be turned on.
Changes in Service
If you currently have active service you add additional services or transfer or disconnect the existing service by either calling the Water Business Office at 903-531-1230 or by completing the online Change My Water Service form. For any change to your service, your account must be current.

We can generally provide next business day service for requests made before 5 p.m. the previous business day. It is necessary for someone to be at the service location for water to be turned on.
