The goal of Volunteer Tyler is to provide you with meaningful and worthwhile volunteer opportunities and to support your volunteer efforts within the City of Tyler. Volunteers like you ensure that the City of Tyler is providing the most efficient and quality services to the entire community.
We look forward to providing you with the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with the City’s staff and citizens. We are striving to build a stronger unity between citizens and the Municipal Government by working side by side and we encourage your participation in our daily activities to provide you with greater understanding of the City's operations.
The Volunteer Tyler program is located within City Hall and under the direction and guidance of the City Manager, Edward Broussard, and the Human Resources Director, ReNissa Wade. The program is then carried out by the Risk Manager Sara McCracken.
We are here for you whether you are currently active or want to find out about new opportunities. We are excited to answer your questions, find you the best position that fulfills your interests, and to let you know how truly appreciated you are. So stop by City Hall or give us a call today at (903) 531-1100 because we look forward to getting to know you!
