September 2012: David and Virginia Demic, Tyler Police Department

David and Virginia Demic are a wonderful couple that have been faithfully dedicated to assisting the Tyler Police Department since 2007. They work together in the Data Management office assisting with special projects to keep the police’s file rooms organized and up to date.

They came to volunteer with the City of Tyler to stay active and involved with the community after retirement. Both being retired teachers, they enjoy the meticulous nature of the position and the importance that they get the job done right. David worked for 40 years as a math professor at Tyler Junior College and Virginia taught grades 3 - 6 for 30 years throughout Texas.

They have been such a blessing to all of us in Data Management for many years. They have given the City of Tyler Police Department a tremendous amount of their precious time, talent, and work ethic. We will forever be indebted to them for their unselfish acts.” Thank you Demics for all you do!
