The City of Tyler’s Information Technology Department developed a new phone app that gives the public access to a plethora of helpful tools and features. Those who download this free app can report a City issue, such as pothole or code violation, connect with City Leaders, get the latest City news, access real-time public transit updates, find nearby destinations and events and more all with the touch of a screen!

 

Individuals are encouraged to download this app for free by searching for “City of Tyler” within their mobile app store.

 

 

Tyler Talks Trash
Customers can type in their address in the new Tyler Talks Trash app or the www.TylerSolidWaste.com widget to find out when to set out their trash and recycling bins. The calendar will include changes to the schedule including holidays and bad weather changes.  Residents may also request alert messages telling them when their trash day is coming. Annexation Notice

The City Council will conduct two public hearings and consider public input on the proposed annexation of 32 single-family homes and one undeveloped lot located west of the southwest intersection of Skidmore Lane and Paluxy Drive. The first public hearing will be at the regular City Council meeting to be held on June 22 at 9 a.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 212 North Bonner Avenue. The City Council will then hold a second public hearing at a special called City Council meeting to be held on June 29 at 9 a.m. in the City Council Chambers. Any questions should be sent to the Planning Department 903-531-1175.
