What: The City of Tyler Neighborhood Services Department will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the grand opening of their new location. The event will include comments from Mayor Joey Seeber and City Manager Bob Turner.
Neighborhood residents have been invited to visit the new location, enjoy lunch and learn more about the myriad of services offered by the Department. The event will also feature an inflatable castle for the kids as well as an art show displaying works by area youth.
The new location for the Neighborhood Services Department is the former Regions Bank building. The building has been renovated for this reuse and demonstrates a commitment toward reinvesting in this neighborhood.
When: Friday, May 9 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. (The ribbon cutting ceremony and program will be held at 11 a.m.)
