The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is now taking registrations for a Disc Golf Clinic to be held from 10 a.m. until noon on April 5. The clinic will be held at the Lindsey Park Disc Golf Course at 1255 Spur 364 in Tyler.
Instructor Lawrence Nance will lead the clinic, which will cover rules and etiquette, putting, driving, mid-range play and disc selection.
“Disc golf is growing in popularity,” said John Webb, Parks and Recreation director. “The Disc Golf Clinic is a great way to learn more about the sport and get actively involved.”
Pre registration is suggested as space is limited for this free activity. Registration forms are available on-line at www.cityoftyler.org under the Parks page and by calling (903) 531-1214.
