City of Tyler crews plan to complete repairs to the culvert located at the intersection of Jeff Davis and Jeb Stuart by noon on Friday. The heavy rains earlier this week caused a 72-inch corrugated metal pipe to fail and wash out the culvert.
City crews will be putting “oil dirt” down for motorists to drive on while they wait for the ground around the work site to settle, then the road will be paved. Once the repairs on Jeff Davis are completed on Friday, the road will be open to through traffic.
