Vendor applications are now being accepted for the Fifth Annual Main Street Flower Market, which is set for Friday and Saturday, March 30-31, on the grounds of the Goodman-LeGrand Museum at 624 N. Broadway.
“The Main Street Flower Market is a beautiful open-air garden market set on some of the most scenic and historic grounds in Tyler,” said City of Tyler Main Street Department Leader Beverly Abell. “This event, begun five years ago, has quickly become one of the community’s favorite projects, and a real highlight of Azalea Trail time.”
Items sold at the Main Street Flower Market are limited to things from, for or directly about the garden, Abell said.
“We try to keep a specialized focus on allowing only garden-related items,” Abell said, “so we do not dilute the event. We have everything from daylilies to herbs to bedding plants, hanging plants and even garden-related items for kids.”
Main Street Flower Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the event. Admission for the public is free. More information is available at www.cityoftyler.org or by calling (903) 593-6905.
