City of Tyler celebrates opening of Fire Station 10

Ribbon CuttingAs part of the City of Tyler’s plan to enhance emergency response times, the Tyler Fire Department opened their tenth fire station on Oct. 8.  The community celebrated by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at the station, located at 2502 Old Omen Road.  

Michael D. Barham Architects designed the 9,648 square foot fire station which was built by HGR General Contractors.  The $1.8 million structure was paid for entirely with funds from the Half-Cent Sales Tax. (More)
