The City of Tyler Solid Waste Department offers subscription-based curbside recycling to residential customers. Residents can sign up for this optional program and receive two curbside recycling pickups per month for $2.50 plus tax per month. A recycling cart is included in the subscription price. Materials DO NOT have to be sorted.
Recycling is picked up twice a month on Wednesdays, depending on your location. To find your curbside recycling day click here.

Tin Food Cans (rinsed and crushed)
Aluminum Cans (rinsed and crushed)
Paper
Newspaper and Magazines
Cardboard of any type (broken down as flat as possible)
#1 Plastic rinsed and crushed with lids removed (such as soda and water bottles)
#2 Plastic rinsed and crushed with lids removed (such as milk jugs and detergent bottles)

Currently, we do not accept any other types of plastic.
