(Old Jacksonville Hwy):

The goal of this project is to widen the existing roadway from two lanes to five, including a continuous left-hand turn lane between Grande Blvd./SH 57 to the north in Tyler, and FM 2813 to the south in Gresham. Crews will also be straightening the curve between Loop 49 and FM 2813 by building a new roadway to the west. The project, which began in February 2006, is scheduled for completion in 31 months.

Impact on Drivers

We recommend you use the following alternate routes to avoid construction delays:

• Northbound and southbound traffic should use US 69 or SH 155.
• Eastbound and westbound traffic should use Loop 323 in Tyler, FM 346 in Flint or FM 2868 in Noonday.
