Tyler Public Library announces card design contest winners

The Tyler Public Library is pleased to announce that designs created by Caroline R. from Three Lakes Middle School and Mia M. from All-Saints High School have been selected for the new children and teen library cards respectively. Voting by the public took place from Dec 14 to Jan 1 in the Library and on the Library’s website.
“Thank you to all of the young artists who submitted work, and a big thanks to everyone who voted to help select a winner,” said Youth Services Librarian Linda Gray.

The new cards will arrive in the spring and the Library will announce when they are available to the public. Current Library card holders will be required to pay a $1 card replacement fee if they would like to have a card with the new design. Any person who does not currently have a Library account will be able to get a card for free when they signup.
