Library hosts “Unity Art” exhibit
The Tyler Public Library will host an art exhibit unlike any other from Sunday, May 15 through Saturday May 21. The multimedia installation is meant to create a sense of community by inspiring patrons to form positive first impressions of strangers. Local UT Tyler artist Nora Schreiber will make appearances during “meet and greets” scheduled for Sunday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 18 from 2 until 4 p.m. to discuss her work.
“Schreiber’s art aims to unite members of the community in artistic impressionism,” said Access Associate Christine Williams. “It’s a must-see exhibit!”
The public is invited to explore the art installations throughout the Library as well as on the grounds outside. Your Tyler Public Library is located at 201 S. College Ave. in Downtown Tyler.
