Rose City Artisans & Flower Market opens Friday morning
The Rose City Artisans & Flower Market is set for Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. It will be held on the beautiful grounds of the 1859 Goodman-LeGrand House and Museum at 624 N. Broadway Ave. in Downtown Tyler. This event coincides with the first weekend of the Azalea and Spring Flower Trail. It is open to the public and admission is free.
“This is a great opportunity for the entire family to enjoy the beautiful spring season and experience a fun community event,” said Mary Foster, museum curator.
This open-air market will feature a variety of items for sale, including:
• Garden décor and garden-related items
Brief guided museum tours will be provided every two hours. Guests are welcome to conduct self-guided tours throughout the event.
• Roses, bedding plants, herbs, daylily bulbs
• Handmade items, like jewelry
• Handmade soaps
• Wood crafts
• Fine art
Please note that additional parking will be available to visitors across the street at the Salvation Army as well as at the Tyler Fair Plaza Parking Garage which is located at South College Ave.
