John Nix

District 6-South

Business Owner

I believe The City of Tyler is the standard other cities aspire to and should follow. The Tyler Blue Print should remain the guide post for every decision regarding our City. Our promise to our Citizen’s has been to have no general obligation debt, and to never leverage the Half Cent Sales Tax. I continue to fight for this fiscally conservative policy based on wise stewardship.
I also believe that my business experience in the service industry has given me the ability to help people from all sectors of the community communicate, understand each other, and cooperate.  I understand the struggles of establishing and maintaining a business. I take those experiences with me in every aspect of my community service, with the aim of making Tyler successful, today and in the future.

We have a wonderful city and have been blessed by years of faithful service by countless people in our community. I will continue to strengthening our community as we go forward.
