STEAM Learning Programs

The Tyler Public Library caters its Makerspace to the areas of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, Mathematics). The Makerspace is for kids, teens, and families who want to learn, play and grow together. A library card is not needed to participate and classes are free!

Makerspace is made possible by the cooperation of library staff, volunteers, and the Friends of the Tyler Public Library. For more information, please contact our Circulation Supervisor, Brenda Choy.

Friends of the Library

All Makerspace materials are funded by the Friends of the Tyler Public Library. Become a friend of the library today and assist, promote and support Library programs and initiatives!

While the library is not providing in-person programs at this time, there are activities being provided. There are currently two kits available for pick-up inside the library for kids ages 3-18 to take home.

"Discover the wonders outside your door" and "Night Sky Bingo" are both available for pickup across from the information desk.
