They provide answers and information on a wide variety of subjects, help trace your family history, borrow books from other libraries, and are responsible for assisting customers in finding their next good book to read. The information desk can also demonstrate the use of our electronic resources, getting you started with eBooks and eAudio, language learning, streaming video, and the many databases we have available for your use. The Reference Department also develops programming for our adult patrons.
Resource Services Librarian - Elizabeth Bradshaw, Email
This division is responsible for selecting and purchasing items for the library and making them ready to go on the shelves. They create entries in our online catalog for each item and assign a call number so you can find it on the shelves. Resource Services makes it possible to find items in the library!
Youth Services Librarian - Amy Skipper, Email
This division is responsible for all services to our younger customers. They choose materials and provide programming for children and teens. Youth services promotes early literacy initiatives and partners with others in the community to reach those children who cannot make it to the library.
