The City of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of services and activities to residents and visitors. We maintain 30 parks, which offer organized and open areas for recreation, enjoying a picnic, listening to music, fishing and children’s play. We also have more than 10 miles of trails winding through Tyler and are suited for a variety of activities including walking, cycling, hiking and running.

Community residents and visitors alike also enjoy the use of Harvey Recreation Center, Tyler Rose Garden, Goodman-LeGrand Museum & Gardens, Tyler Senior Center and Glass Recreation Center, which are utilized for planned group programs and classes, birthdays, baby showers, community meetings and their various amenities.

Tyler Parks and Recreation also maintains Faulkner Tennis Center, Fun Forest Pool, four spraygrounds, 3 cemeteries, and 120 medians throughout Tyler.

In addition, Parks and Recreation facilitates many events for outside organizations, but has also hosted several community events. We invite you to explore our website and Find Your Fun with us!
