Great Tyler Cleanup

Postponed. New event date will be set soon!

Each year, as part of the Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off and the Great American Cleanup, Keep Tyler Beautiful hosts the Great Tyler Cleanup! Volunteers from all across the community head out to their neighborhoods and local parks to help rid our city of litter. In 2019, 400 volunteers took part in this city-wide event and cleaned up 5,280 pounds of trash!

The 2020 Great Tyler Cleanup has been postponed and we are not able to set a new event date at this time. You can still register to volunteer so you are the first to know when the new date is set!

Park Service Day

Park Service Day Banner

Each September, Keep Tyler Beautiful hosts a Park Service Day event as a way for our community to give back and help beautify our neighborhood parks. Hundreds of volunteers take on projects such as painting park bathrooms and railings, cleaning litter, cleaning flower beds, laying new mulch on playgrounds and more. These projects are made possible thanks to our community sponsors each year.

South Tyler Trail Cleanup

The Tyler Parks and Recreation received a $250 grant from ExtremeTerrain Clean Trail Initiative Program. We will be using these funds and supplies to clean South Tyler Trail. We will schedule this event as soon as we are safely able. For more information about the Clean Trails Grant, view the Extreme Terrain website.
