Broderick McGee was born and raised in Tyler and attended public schools in the Tyler Independent School District. Upon graduating from John Tyler High School, he received his Associates Degree from Tyler Junior College, a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Le Tourneau University, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University. Broderick also holds a Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute as well as a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional Certification.
Broderick currently serves as a board member for the Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith county. Previously, he served as President of the Rose City Chapter of SHRM and as a Commissioner for the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Tyler. Broderick is also an alumnus of the Leadership Tyler Class 27.
He serves as Pastor of Administration at the New Life Community Church and Minister of Music at the Liberty Baptist Church and owns McGee Property Management, LLC.
He is employed with Kluber Lubrication as the Human Resource Manager and has participated in numerous company initiated and sponsored leadership development programs.
Broderick has been married for over twenty-five years to Tabbotha McGee and they have four children. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, playing the piano, traveling and hanging out with friends and family.
