Clint Childs is a Tyler native committed to supporting thoughtful growth, strong neighborhoods, and the quality of life that makes Tyler a special place to live, work, and raise a family.
Clint and his wife, Brittany, have called District 4 home since 2009. He is a proud graduate of Bell Elementary School, Moore Middle School, and Robert E. Lee High School. After attending Baylor University, Clint returned home to earn his MBA from The University of Texas at Tyler and build a career in real estate and small business.
Clint has served the community through several local boards and organizations, including PATH, the City of Tyler Main Street Board, and Leadership Tyler. He also served on the Tyler Tomorrow Steering Committee and as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner.
Through his service on the City Council, Clint is focused on protecting what makes Tyler special while supporting ideas and investments that strengthen the community for future generations.
