October pet adoptions give back to Blue Santa

During October, adopting a new best friend from Tyler Animal Services will also help make the holidays brighter for local children.

Throughout the month, the Shelter will donate all adoption fees to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Foundation to benefit Blue Santa Tyler-Smith County. Blue Santa supports local children throughout the year, including providing backpacks at the beginning of the school year, new coats during the winter and an annual Christmas shopping spree with law enforcement officers.

The standard adoption fee for dogs is $120, and for cats, it is $80. All animals adopted from Tyler Animal Services are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

If you would like to adopt, see all available pets for adoption, or submit an application, visit the Tyler Animal Services webpage. For more information, call (903) 535-0045.
