Spread the Love and bring home a new best friend this September

Tyler Animal Services is giving community members a chance to bring home a new pet while helping fight hunger across East Texas this September! 

Throughout the month, Tyler Animal Services will offer no-cost dog and cat adoptions with the donation of 10 jars of peanut butter. The donated peanut butter will benefit the East Texas Food Bank and count toward Tyler’s total in the Spread the Love Peanut Butter Drive. 

The friendly challenge between Tyler and Longview supports the East Texas Food Bank during Hunger Action Month. This year’s peanut butter drive runs Tuesday, Sept. 1, through Thursday, Sept. 24. 

The standard adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $80 for cats. Animals adopted from Tyler Animal Services are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. For more information, call Tyler Animal Services at (903) 535-0045.
