The director who brought Bella Swan and Edward Cullen to the big screen is coming to Tyler! On Thursday, Nov. 19, the Tyler Film Festival and Liberty Hall will host Twilight: An Evening with Catherine Hardwicke, presented by Dobbs & Porter. The event features a special screening of the 2008 film followed by a live Q&A with the director about making the movie and her career in Hollywood.

The event begins at 7 p.m. at Liberty Hall in Downtown Tyler. Hardwicke, who directed the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novel, will share firsthand stories about casting Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, bringing the story to life and her experiences as a female director in Hollywood.

Fans are encouraged to get into the Twilight spirit by dressing as their favorite characters. Everyone who attends in costume will receive one free item from the concession stand.

An exclusive meet-and-greet with Hardwicke before the screening has already sold out, but tickets for the film and Q&A are still available.

The event is hosted by the Tyler Film Festival and Liberty Hall, presented by Dobbs & Porter, with additional sponsorship from The Headless Librarian.

Tickets are available at LibertyTyler.com. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets only through the official website and to be cautious of tickets offered by third-party sellers or individuals online, as they may not be valid.
